Dr. Germaine Hawkins, fuelled with a passion for wellness has formulated two proprietary products for optimal brain function – Advyndra for focus and mood support and Serinytex for natural sleep support.
The Advyndra Story
Dr. (MAJ) Germaine B. Hawkins D.O., an Integrative Psychiatrist and Neuromodulation Medicine Specialist, founded Hawkins Psychiatry PC in 2004. As a private practice psychiatrist, he has always been passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal brain health. In 2013, in response to many of his patients’ frustration with psychiatric medication side effects, he founded Mind & Body Health Solutions LLC and started to research potential herbal, plant-based and nutritional methods to help his patients obtain optimal brain functioning.
Realizing his medical training unfortunately offered minimal education regarding the importance of nutrition in mental health, Dr Hawkins dedicated many hours over the next two years independently researching studies to determine what vitamins, amino acids and herbs could be beneficial in achieving optimal brain health for his patients. Dr Hawkins focused on developing supplements that could aid cognition, mood support and sleep. In 2015, Advyndra was created followed by Serinytex two years later.
Advyndra® (pronounced ad-vin-druh) is a proprietary synergistic blend that was specifically developed to address cognitive deficits and neurotransmitter imbalances related to micronutrient, B vitamins, and amino acid deficiencies, as well as to potentially serve as a complementary option augmenting conventional prescription oral medications for depression and anxiety disorders. Advyndra has also showed some improvement in cognitive and mood functioning in former NFL athletes suffering from TBI (traumatic Brain Injury). These athletes reported improvement in stress tolerance, focus and mood after 4 weeks..His second proprietary supplement, Serinytex® (pronounced sah-rhen-atex) was formulated as an herbal-amino acid supplement to support proper sleep architecture and restful sleep. Many of his patients report more restful sleep on Serinytex without the next day grogginess many other sleep aids bring. Both products are made 100% in the USA by a cGMP certified laboratory, the highest rating for laboratories manufacturing supplements.
